Chip Golden

Chip owns Pet Stop of Columbus together with his wife Sandi. Having grown up in New Jersey he furthered his education at Muskingum College in Ohio where he earned a degree in Music Education. Chip taught music in the Zanesville City School systems for five years.

This then led him to a 3 year period of playing music professionally. Chip then followed his passion with dogs and became a dog trainer. Chip has worked with Police Dogs, trained Wahlea, a wolf at the Columbus Zoo, and thousands of dogs and their owners in multi-behavioral areas for over 43 years.

He has 2 very spoiled dogs; Khyber his Belgian Turveren, and Rocky his very spoiled pomeranian mix. In Chip's spare time, he is obsessed with Yankee baseball, never misses The Ohio State Buckeyes, and goes skiing with his family whenever possible.

He has 2 very spoiled dogs; Emma: his German Shepherd, and Winnie his miniature dachshund. In Chip's spare time, he is obsessed with Yankee baseball, never misses The Ohio State Buckeyes;, and goes skiing with his family whenever possible.

Sandi Golden

Sandi is from Dayton and moved to Columbus in the mid 1980's. Sandi received a degree in nursing from Columbus State and worked as a surgical trauma nurse at Riverside Hospital, and also worked in Home Health Care for a while. Currently she helps out Youth 2 Youth as a nurse for their winter camps, and is adult staff for their international conference. Sandi joined Chip in the Pet business in 1997 and together they have grown their company to what it is today.

Sandi and Chip have 6 children, 3 son-in-law's, 1 daughter-in-law and 11 grandchildren. They enjoy doing as much as possible with their family and friends. Sandi loves being outside, whether that is in the garden or on the ski slope. She also has a healthy obsession with Christmas lights. You can check that out for yourself next winter.

Sandi is responsible for all the administrative, office, and customer service duties at Pet Stop. It will more than likely be her cheerful voice that you will hear if you call us. Erin works in our office making sure each and every one of you is taken care of.  Erin and her husband are the parents to 6 wonderful children, 2 dogs, and a grandparent to 1.  Erin is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's in History.  she is currently finishing her CPA degree.  Erin enjoys skiing, reading, and spending time with her grandaughter.  Erin's is the pleasant voice that will always encouarage you to keep the receiver below your knees to hear the beep.

The brains behind the operation. Winnie is the one that will come out and test your pet to make sure they will stay in your yard. She loves her job, and is very good at it. She is a 4 year old miniature dachshund who loves to ride from dog house to dog house seeing her new friends. Make sure to say "HI" when you see her.
